Street Dance will expose children to various upbeat urban moves and styles such as Urban, Old School, Hip Hop, Breaking (Bboy / Bgirl), Locking, Popping, House, etc. In these high-energy classes, we provide students with a chance to explore different styles and beats and develop their artistic expressions with stylized rhythmic music.
A typical class will start with warm up conditioning, stretching and strengthening, before exploring and learning moves of a given style. The styles will rotate throughout the year (including freestyle!) and the various moves used towards presenting choreographies of various lengths.
